Oil on linen
Paintings Found 37 - 48 of 52
I painted this lovely little piece on a quite day after a big storm. The ocean was calm, and the glare off the waves caught my attention.
This is oil on linen mounted on board (gatorboard). It is being made available unframed.
Framed in a beautful hand leafed warm silver frame and protected by museum glass. Outside dimensions of frame measure 19 x 22.
This painting is all about the distant mountains as they are framed by the foreground. This was just a great day to be painting on location.
This piece and its companion "Santa Barbara Morning" were painting on the same day from the same location. I really enjoyed observing the transformation between the morning's bright yellow glare on the ocean into the evening light with the sun going down behind me generating deep violets and blues in the water.
