This unusual format for a skyscape reflects a slice of the sky at sunset.  Oil on linen.

I headed out in the dark to get to this unique spot for dawn.  The reds just come alive in the right lighting, and on this day the was picked up a wonderful glow.  Massive reeds on the hills also glow under these lighting conditions, adding to the wonder of the moment.
