Pebble Beach Overlook

This was painted on location from a tucked in spot overlooking Pebble Beach across a golf course.  What a dramatic tree, wind blown yet elegant.

This is an oil on linen mounted on gatorfoam (highly archival yet lightweight).  It is currently be sold unframed, and is priced as such.  Call to discuss framing options.

Coastal Clearing

One morning on the coast I found myself socked in by fog.  I started driving south, and eventually I found a hole in the weather. The day just started to open up as I was painting, revealing the most beautiful and fleating lighting effects on the cliffs.

This is a studio piece done from studies from that outing.  It is oil on stretched linen canvas.
