I painted this over the California 'winter', when the rains bring out the wildflowers. Classic valley view with distant hills visible.

I painting this right outside my front door one day. I had planned to take a long drive to the coast to paint, but this scene caught my eye as I was loading up and I just had to stop and try to capture the feel of it in paint.
