I painted on the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf. Oil on linen panel. This is being made available unframed.
This piece is part of an emerging series exploring the intersection of landscape art and abstraction, with a colorist bent. It is linen stretched on 1.5inch deep stretchers. I can be hung unframed (edges are painted), or it looks great in a minimalist floater frame. It is priced as unframed.
One of a series from a solo backpacking/painting trip along the Yuba river. To manage the heat, I just stayed wet for the two days I was out painting on the river. Oil on linen, priced to be sold unframed.

One of a series from a solo backpacking/painting trip along the Yuba river. To manage the heat, I just stayed wet for the two days I was out painting on the river. This piece was from a magical small creek flowing into the Yuba with some small waterfalls in a hidden shaded grove. Oil on linen, priced to be sold unframed.
This is from a backpacking trip in the high sierras. I hiked in a couple of hours with my painting gear to this gorgeous lake, and spent the day trying to capture a bit of my feeling of awe being out there. Oil on linen mounted on board.
An unusual format with an exaggerated height. A continuation of a series of still life paintings I've been exploring. I added the blue marble to tie the composition and color scheme together.
Here I was exploring how much I could 'lose' the upside down glass that is supporting the lemon while still keeping the painting cohesive. Exploring lost edges and abstraction. This is oil on panel.
